All four year colleges normally require students to take an entrance exam, either the SAT or the ACT. However, due to the pandemic, all SUNY colleges and a large number of private colleges have changed their requirements so students do not need an SAT or ACT. If you are unsure if you should take one of the entrance exams, please check with your counselor!
