We're absolutely thrilled to announce the grand unveiling of our very own Mobile Farm-to-School Stand—a project that beautifully embodies our dedication to both our students and the wider Attica community! You'll find our stand conveniently located at the main entrance of the Middle School/High School Campus.
This isn't just a stand; it's a celebration of our students' hard work, the incredible support from our community partners, and our commitment to promoting healthy, sustainable eating. Every item on our stand is the result of a community collaboration or has been grown and harvested right here on our campus by our students and staff. You'll find a variety of seasonal produce, including potatoes, cantaloupe, tomatoes, corn, green peppers, eggplant, and more!
While our farm stand doesn't have designated pricing at this time, all proceeds will go directly toward supporting our students and the educational programs that made this farm stand possible. This initiative is our way of giving back to the community, but we also kindly ask you to consider donating to help ensure that these amazing programs continue to thrive.
We understand that not everyone may be able to contribute financially at this time, and we want to ensure that all community members have access to fresh produce. If you need some produce but can't afford to donate, please feel free to take what you need—our priority is that everyone in our community has access to healthy food. We simply ask that you give back when you can and are mindful in doing this regularly, as ongoing support is essential for us to continue operating the stand and funding our student programs.
We'll be monitoring the stand closely to ensure it’s respected and that it remains a positive resource for everyone. Depending on community support and donations, we may need to adjust how we operate, including the possibility of introducing pricing for the product.
